The design: PAPER PIRATE

A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese print by the painter Hokusai.

In the Basque Country, one immediately thinks of the giant wave known as Belharra.

In the background, a small section of mountain reminiscent of La Rhune, visible from the ocean.

And finally, an origami-style paper boat with a proudly raised, childlike pirate flag seems to sail effortlessly, cheekily defying the many surfers attempting to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
