The design: PAPER PIRATE

A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese print by the painter Hokusai.

In the Basque Country, one immediately thinks of the giant wave called Belharra.

In the background, a small stretch of mountain evokes La Rhune, which can be seen from the ocean.

Finally, an origami-style paper boat, proudly flying a childlike pirate flag, seems to sail effortlessly, cheekily defying the many surfers trying to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
