The design: PAPER PIRATE

A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese woodblock print by the painter Hokusai.

In the Basque Country, one immediately thinks of the giant wave known as Belharra.

In the background, a small section of mountain evokes La Rhune, which can be seen from the ocean.

And finally, a paper boat in the style of origami, proudly flying a childlike pirate flag, seems to sail effortlessly, cheekily defying the many surfers attempting to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
