The design: PAPER PIRATE

A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese print by the painter Hokusai.

In the Basque Country, people will immediately think of the giant wave called Belharra.

In the background, a small section of mountain that will bring to mind La Rhune, visible from the ocean.

And finally, an origami-style paper boat with a proudly raised, childlike pirate flag seems to sail effortlessly, thumbing its nose at the many surfers attempting to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
