The design: PAPER PIRATE
A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese print by the painter Hokusai.
In the Basque Country, one immediately thinks of the giant wave known as Belharra.
In the background, a small section of mountain that will call to mind La Rhune, visible from the ocean.
And finally, an origami-style paper boat, proudly flying a childlike pirate flag, seems to sail effortlessly, thumbing its nose at the many surfers attempting to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
The base garment: footless pajama
American-style neckline romper. Soft, stretchy interlock fabric. Binding at the neckline, sleeves, and ankles. Decorative stitching. Nickel-free snap fasteners at the crotch.
