"MAITASUNA" means LOVE in Basque.

You know, the feeling that is not at all fashionable in this world of brutes!

In public debate, much more time is devoted to finding good reasons to feel the exact opposite toward others ... 

So this illustration will surely be seen as opportunistic (yes, it is being released just before Valentine's Day, perhaps one of the times of year when every human being might reflect on their own relationship with this innate feeling), or perhaps as somewhat naïve and old-fashioned ... but this is entirely intentional.

With the ZE POLITA brand, I aim to illustrate and share essentially positive things with you, as an encouragement toward GOODNESS, because I believe in it!

So "MAITASUNA ETA KITTO*!" because that is what we should all seek deep down in our short lives: in every form, each person in their own way and with whomever they choose; LOVE for ourselves and for what we accomplish every day, LOVE for the other human beings with whom we share our lives each day, but also for everyone else, LOVE for our environment and other living beings ... *LOVE AND THAT'S ALL!"
