The design: PAPER PIRATE

A graphic wave inspired by the one in Kanagawa, the famous Japanese print by the painter Hokusai.

In the Basque Country, people will immediately think of the giant wave known as Belharra.

In the background, a small glimpse of the mountain that might remind locals of La Rhune, visible from the ocean.

Finally, an origami-style paper boat, proudly flying a childlike pirate flag, seems to sail effortlessly, cheekily defying the many surfers attempting to tame the waves of the Basque Country.
