Men's short-sleeved T-shirt - ETXEA

"Etxea" means house in Basque. A more than problematic issue in our beautiful region: owning a home is becoming a dream, but also a necessity that is too often inaccessible because of overtourism and real estate speculation.

On the doors of houses in the Basque Country, tradition dictates hanging an "eguzkilore" to protect against the evil eye.

But today, in my design, it is the "sun flower" dreaming of its "Etxea", imagined by a little boy affected by this issue at that moment.

A motif at the heart to express my attachment to this subject: an S.O.S. represented by its Morse code . . . _ _ . . . to begin a dialogue that is both universal and full of hope for tomorrow.

In 2022, we celebrated the 60th anniversary of the smiley symbol, an element of anti-gloom pop culture that has invaded our daily lives.
