"MAITASUNA" means LOVE in Basque.

You know, the feeling that is not at all fashionable in this world of brutes!

In public debate, much more time is devoted to finding good reasons to feel the exact opposite toward others ... 

So this illustration will probably be seen as opportunistic (yes, it is coming out just before Valentine's Day, perhaps one of the times of year when every human being might reflect on their own relationship with this innate feeling), or perhaps as somewhat naive and old-fashioned ... but I fully embrace that.

With the ZE POLITA brand, I seek to illustrate and share essentially positive things with you, like an exhortation to DO GOOD because I believe in it!

So "MAITASUNA ETA KITTO*!" because this is what we should all seek deep down in our short existence: in all its forms, each in their own way and with whomever they please; LOVE for ourselves and for what we accomplish every day, LOVE for the other humans with whom we share our lives each day, but also for everyone else, LOVE for our environment and other living beings ... *LOVE AND THAT'S ALL!"
